Hey all,

As it's the end of the (main) part of the season, I'm starting to plot out my maintenance for the coming months. Jumping the gun a little, I'll probably want an antifoul sometime around September-ish.

I've been going to Gladesville Bridge Marina with my old boat and they were surprisingly good on price (around $1300 all up), but that was for a 22ft boat. I've now got a Flying Tiger 10, so don't think I'd even make it up their slip.

Always worth checking around on prices anyways - what sort of $/ft are you guys paying. Also open to taking the boat up to either Pittwater or down to Broken Bay, which I've never had the option of before, so interested if there's much price variation there.

In July 2024 at White Bay 6 near Balmain, it cost me as below. Per foot and per meter is my calculation given 40ft/12m boat
Item
Lift, Stand and Launch $599.21 $14.98/ft $49.93/m
Pressure Blast $203.94 $5.10/ft $17.00/m
Environmental Levy $143.70

Altex no.5 2 coats rolled
incl masking and prep $2,657.08 $66.43/ft $221.42/m

propellor prop speed $332.75
shaft prop speed $199.21
misc, Lift Survey (1 hour) $593.31
There were also 4 lay days charged at $200/day = $800 and a wet berth for a day at $90 and a 0.57kg zinc at $51

all up $5673.34 ex GST. $6204.88 incl GST

A good thing was they booked me in within 2-3 weeks, whereas some other big yards were fully booked to March the next year.

My S&S34 was done at Gladesville but that was a few years ago. I found them quite reasonable price wise.
Balmain was an option but more expensive at the time. I often used Woolwich and Cabarita Pt is another option.
