Query re diesel engine oil and transmission oil for Nanni 2.14 SP60

We are going to service our engine for the first time and want to make sure we are using the correct engine oil and transmission oil.
The engine oil specifications say SAE 15W-40 and API CF mini. I am not sure what CF mini refers to.
I have been told the transmission oil should be ATF but there are several types of ATF.
Can anyone help with information about the correct engine oil and ATF to buy for Nanni 2.14 sail drive SP60

It's a Kubota so just use an SAE 15W-40 engine oil. Any of the brands will do, just ensure it's mineral oil and cheaper is best. Change the oil twice a year, don't worry about the hours. Buy the cheapest ATF.

Hi, I use shell rimula heavy duty diesel engine oil and find that the oil pressure remains right where it should be whilst another cheaper house brand did not when the engine warmed up. As for ATF, go for any of the name brand multi vehicle offerings, I use castrol or shell.
My belief is that higher quality, whilst being slightly dearer, is cheap insurance for the engine and transmission.
