Hi, can anyone recommend good companies for doing pitch adjustments on a prop. I have a Flex O Fold 3 blade that I'd like to have adjusted.

Not in Tas but DHPorter in Sydney is highly recommended in prior posts on this site,

www.dhporter.com.au/

Assume you have seen this on the faq section of the flexifold website. So adjustment is actually replacing the blades, which you should be able to do yourself.

Can I change the pitch and size of a Flexofold Propeller??

Yes! The pitch can be changed by mounting new blades with different size/pitch in the existing hub, unless you have a very old propeller.

DH Port repitched my 3 blade Flex O Fold prop. Make sure they replace the nylon blade back stops at the same time. The only problem we had was Australia Post managed to lose the prop between Sydney and Brisbane. Was sent express post and took 7 days which meant a total of 2 weeks on the slips at Boat Works. ??

Thanks, but I don't want to go to that expense. I'd rather work with what I've got.

Great, I'll give them a call. I particularly didn't want to use a local company in Tas, not a lot of confidence in them and they're super expensive for most things.

Ah great! thanks, good tip about the stops. What was the issue with your prop? I have a theory that the Flexofold calculations for prop sizing are undercooked for a lot of boats. Do you recall the details of the repitching by any chance? What did they charge? Good old Aus Post eh! Expensive for you I bet?

I'll watch on I have a two blade Flexofold, and I also think they err on the side of caution, mine seams under pitched a smidge!

My prop was over pitched and I couldn't get 3000rpm, was only getting 2500rpm. Volvo wanted the full 3000rpm so Porters reduced the pitch and I am now getting 2900rpm. The cost was covered under the boat warranty as it was a new boat. The boat still has the same top speed but the motor is not labouring at low revs.
