For too many years to remember I have diligently followed the instructions on the bottle for polishing. Put it on in small sections and buff off. Yesterday my tradie grandson polished the hull of my boat to a gleaming finish in record time.
He used a small Ryobi buffer with a lambswool cover , put a liberal smear of Septone super fine polish on the lambswool and polished a section at a time all in one go. He changed the lambswool cover a few times. No buffing required. Doesnt work on MV her said. Now I need to convince him to come back and put Collinite wax on top while I do the topsides.

Saw this on the boat detailers group on Facebook. But sounds like you are ready there!
