How big is this boat?
20,000 new copper nails just to fix planks to ribs seems like overkill...
Maybe the nail heads act as copperplate antifoul!!

Yes we'll we would have to calculate the ribs,planks and number of rivets per fixture you can actually count the rovings below decks if you would like me to double check!
