After a messy separation, I bought a yacht, Tassie built Chris Bouzaid designed 37 footer. Scored it for half price as he bought a bigger Adams. I bought sight unseen and haven't stepped foot on it yet but I am preparing myself and getting affairs in order so I can take off and learn how to sail. It has pretty much everything, full service history since 2008, had contacts of every owner, who I rang to talk to and all said it is an amazing boat and that I got the bargain of the year at $25k.

I have bought 48v 8kwh lifepo4, 2000w turbine, 2 x 540w panels and am looking for advice on windvane, water maker and any other essential must haves for extended journeys. I have bought land in Vanuatu for tax purposes but eventually want to head to Patagonia when I know I won't kill myself at sea.

Looking forward to your combined knowledge and experience. Regards

Rozinante around the world - Jeremy Firth
Caronade. - what ever that book is called.

Try a shakedown to Stewart island and Auckland isles - plenty of YouTube video there

cheers

Interesting. Chris Bouzaid was a good sailmaker and skipper

but I never heard of any yacht he designed. Are you meaning an S+S37 which was Tassie built? Appreciate link of the boat advert so I know.

Ok thanks, received. Just emailed back you have an absolute pearler. Richard Hartley designed he is a genius. Bouzaid might have drawn up a rig plan but nothing else.
