Tops. That's a decent overhead reel you have there what's the largest tuna / mackerel / salmon you've snared with it................

It's ironic r13. But I don't use the rod and reel and have never caught anything large with it.
The rod belongs to my crew and he had it made in Vancouver 50 years ago, Reel is mine.
I almost always run out trawling lines on simple plastic or wood reels.
The rod is for guests who want to hold something.
The biggest? About 6 kilo Tuna. Was real work to get it aboard, but it fed us for 6 months.
