Kinora has an elderly Morse MV-2 engine control which is currently seized. I'll be dismantling it this weekend and, if the Sailing Gods smile, a clean up and fresh grease may fix the problem. However, experience with the boat suggests a total rebuild or replacement is more likely ...
A search of this forum brought up a post from r13 (who should be declared a national treasure soley on the basis of their contributions here) that mentioned C. H. Smith. C. H. Smith no longer stock parts for the MV-2 and they referred me to BLA in Queensland. BLA carry the MV-3 but, unsurpisingly, no parts for the MV-2.
Does anyone have any suggestions for who may stock parts for this unit?
Cheers,
Kinora

These are in my metal recycling bin, to dump. The cables are about 3metres long. The Tohatsu mechanic in Carrum Downs ("The Outboard Workshop") supplied and installed the cables, and I forget where the levers came from.
Free to a good home, I will toss them next time at the transfer station.

Thanks for the offer, Fab. The MV-2 units I have looks quite different (single lever), don't think the parts will fit.
