I have seen a lot of the Master brand yacht fitting for sale. Seem to have a good range of stuff and some of it is reasonably priced. Does anyone have any feedback on the brand? I'm curious where it's made. I was surprised to hear that Ronstan stuff is now all made in Denmark!

I bought one of their M8-12 halyard clutches a few years ago and it was good but the installation instructions called for M4 fasteners in the 2 mounting holes - this was way too small for the 600kg rated load and I used M8 which was fine and fitted in the holes as designed in the clutch. I fed this back to them and they rapidly agreed, apologised and changed the instructions to M8. Maybe you could check that the fastener sizes as designed are suitable for the fairlead for all load cases. Might be an idea to put the 2 highest loaded lines on the 2 outside holes adjacent to the fasteners.
They sell the Trogear asymm kite prodder which seems like a market leader. Trogear looks to be French and spendy.
sam allen are the importers we use quite a bit of it and will probably use more as riley are going out of production
Thanks for the replies. Made in Taiwan is fine. I bought some pistons for my race car from Taiwan and they are too pretty to hide away.
I'm looking at replacing the mainsheet block system and I need something that will compliment the Harken traveller system.
