Hi,
Got my mooring fees and it's written that the boat is 27foot long (8.2m). In fact the boats is Tasman 26, 7.92m long and 6.7m of water length. That makes a difference in fees. Under 8m ($472) and over ($600). How can I approach this issue without making too much trouble with Maritime?
My plan is to jump to the Glebe office and ask them to correct their records. Any other suggestions from personal experience?

Thank you.

The published loa does not include any object overhanging the ends such as the pulpit , anchor , sprit , boarding ladder, etc, etc, . In most cases these items are included in establishing the actual length where charges are based on length .

Depends if you getting a bigger boast in the next five years, you shorten it you will never get to extend it again.
Just a thought

The only way to change is to have the boat re hin'd. Then they can measure and change the length. If you want a full explanation call me on 0412217757

It's not that hard TBH.
