Hi All - just joined!
I'm the proud owner of a Santana 28' sloop, around 37 years old I believe. I am undertaking a number of projects around the boat - although she is in quite good condition for her age, her windows are cracked and crazed, and the seals shot.
One option is that I could drill out the frames and take the windows to a plastics supplier to have replacements cut to shape and size, and refit. However I would really like the job done correctly and be confident of no leaks. Can anyone recommend someone who replaces yacht windows in the Sydney area? Boat is up in Newport.
Next job after that will be a deck repaint!

Would trust CBM would be well able to do this - they are in Elvina Bay.

I did mine on our old yatch, pretty straight forward.
Just remove the old ones, get new ones cut out.
Clean the surrounding area really well, silicone and i used new screws.
Clean up any silicone if necesary.
Never had an issue with leaks.
Comprehensive prior thread here with 3M VHB tape and Fixtech 200 used very successfully.

a sheet of 10 mil tinted polycarbonate and I'll do them myself using that. Fixtech is my choice of sealer. I don't
foresee any problem.
