This would have to be the most woeful passage making I have ever seen , I take my hat off to the old fella for having the guts to sail (motor ) around Australia but he was a sitting duck crossing the bight , I never looked at the compass 29 as a motor sailor even though I knew it didn't sail as good as the compass 28 .
