Hi all
i am in the market for an inflatable fishing boat. 8person with around the 30hp outboard mark. I have found an online company North Sea inflatables that look good but can't find any online presence other than their website. Does any have one of these dinghies or some advice on what's good?
thanks

Out of interest, why an inflatable for fishing?
For the price of that new inflatable, plus 30 hp engine, you should be able to get a decent used tinny for that price. Although, I haven't looked at used boat prices for a long time, so I could be way off.

From looking at the website, the 8 person inflatable is 3.8 m. Not that your planning on putting 8 peeps on board, but I'd be keen to see how a 3.8 would go with 8 people on board with a 30 hp! But then again, I have no experience with inflatables.

FYI - when I was getting into fishing, I upgraded from the 'shore' to a canoe. Then started looking at inflatables myself. It was not a terrible option at the time, but was happy that i skipped that step. And again, comparing apples to oranges with inflatables v tinnies, when I started getting serious about looking for a boat, i hired a 3.8 m tinny and took the (ex) wife out for a couple of hours in the Bribie passage. We quickly decided that 3.8 was too small. And she missed an absolute monster flathead that she got right next to the boat, but didn't set the hook well, and I watched it swim off.
