i have been studying this item I brought 6 years ago and still can't get my head around it!

I could use with my saloon table if I had 2 of them but trying to fit just one seems impossible.

has anyone fitted them?

Id say very similar to gas strut South Ace.
You could use it on its own but you would have to lock the table at its pivot point and lock the Item in its extended position .
If that wont do then break out the Captain Morgan and half a dozen shots you will get inspired and creative maybe more creative

But I would have use a couple of pieces of wood slide them out to hold the table up and slide them back when you want to fold the table

old antique tables use the same idea

quick find this sort of thing

The Table off my walker H28 uses the sliding wood piece to hold it when in use I gave it to Mad Mission if hes on he may take a photo if its any use

sit back and pour your self a captain Morgan and enjoy South Ace

You need you fix the mounting point first then fold out the table and set it level and then mark the rakego bracket to screw it into the fold out piece of table

just in case you're Italian is poor

It seems whitworths don't carry these in stock anymore.....I do recommend them now I have fitted the one I had!

ok it seems I missed the boat!

The company loose change advised are out of stock and no longer will be importing them!

Looks like I have to import one myself!

I brought 3 from

www.toplicht.de/de/

possibly the only place now you can purchase them!

Some nice stuff there for Ho2s boat (can you read Dutch) !

Dutch may help, but German would be better as it's a German site (and written in German). But then there is also an English version by clicking the little Union Jack flag thingy in the corner.

I have a small smirk on my face, while working for Rubins 12 or so years ago I discovered these and some of the other items in the roca range which are brilliant. Rubins are terrible at distributing product and with them and whitworths both putting a premium on them the cost blew out significantly.
Best place to purchase Roca products is through West Marine in the US.
Might have a talk with Roca to see if I can get them through the Sailboat Shop.

I have gone ahead with payment, 50 euro for 3 Rakego and 50 euro for postage! Still cheaper that the same purchase at whitworths 7 years ago...

I have to wonder what boat builders are using as replacements now it seems these are not avalible in Australia. Whitworths only have some ugly S/s angle brackets avalible.
