I am planning my week north beginning on Feb 25 and I find I have a full moon on 27 Feb. Lucky us.

The Snow Moon is the Full Moon in February, named after the snow on the ground. Some North American tribes named it the Hunger Moon due to the scarce food sources and hard hunting conditions during mid-winter, while others named it the Storm Moon.

How Many Moons do you know?
Well there is David, his charming wife and three delightful kids, so I guess that makes five.

Couldn't help myself, I'll see myself out now.

The "Harvest Moon" refers to the full moon that rises within closest proximity to the autumnal equinox, according to CNN, which means Planet Earth only witnesses one every year. ... That means there's more moonlight earlier on, which was beneficial when farmers would harvest their crops late at night.

Harvest moon but also a Micromoon. The opposite of a super moon.

Keith Moon! Not personally. But there should certainly be a phase of the Moon named after him.

Saw Kieth MOON with the Who at Festival Hall in 1968. Along with Manfred Mann and the Small faces.
I would call that a Full Moon.

I know "off topic" but I couldn't help but brag,

Thats was a good gig. Eric Claptons MTV unplugged versions of "Layla" and "Tears in Heaven" was one of his best in my opionion.

"The Dark Side Of The Moon"

Two versions, one by "Pink Floyd", the other by "Chang'e 3", of which I prefer the first one, by far.

Ps: If you download SkEye it is a very useful tool for the interested!
