Can anyone recommend a boatyard that allows DIY work in the Brisbane area ? Must accommodate a 2.5m draft. Compared to Melbourne the obvious choices are quite pricy.

I understand from my pen partner Horizon Shores allows such but you would need to ring to confirm. It is 45 mins from Brissy.

I really liked hauling at the Boatworks back in 2015. Still has a great rep as far as I can tell. 3.5 m dredged river access.

+1 for Boatworks. They have recently dredged from D to H jetties, which has not been updated on the maps. If being lifted at the southern lift you will probably need high tide with 2.5m. Will have no problem getting up the river.

+1 for boatworks aswell. I've just had my boat out at Scarborough marina last week and will never go back there.
