Hello All,

I have a Compass 29 fitted with Stowe electronics that are on the way out - the log is cactus and depth needs to be turned on and off again until it works. I am coming up on the hard in January to do a bit of osmosis repair and think it would be an opportune time to replace these items. I was planning on fitting the i50 tridata pack (around $850) as I can't justify the extra expense on the i70 sail pack, however I did notice the Garmin Wireless Sail Pack at somewhere around $1400, which has the additional benefit of a wireless wind instrument.

Does anybody have any experience with the Garmin pack and can comment on the quality?

Thanks

Jason

I hear wireless gear can be unreliable, plenty of info discussed on other forums. I am old school, went for B & G cable versions , great gear
