Hey Shaggy good onya . Is it congratulations or commiserations .
You cant leave your crew stranded so start looking for their sake.
Please tell me you have to deliver it to Tahiti or Hawaii.

Hiya BB,
Thanks mate, feels more like commiserations to be honest! Nothing to do with the sale, just coming to grips with the fact that you won't have it there when that urge to just go sailing gets too strong.
I am trying to see it as a positive though, I count myself fortunate to have achieved a goal in finally owning the boat of my dreams, that alone is a lot to be thankful for.
I will miss most of all the smiles from all the people I have been lucky to have been able to take out, but the good thing is that'll continue with the new owner. They had that same sparkle in their eyes the moment they took the helm .
One chapter closes, another new chapter starts. Who knows where the story ends?
Cheers!
SB

Oh no! Happy you got the sale, but unhappy you're without the boat... I hope there's another in your future if you wish it.

Thanks very much mate, doing the delivery tomorrow so at least I get one last sail.
The best thing is the weather looks pretty cool for going south.
BananaBender, I'll prob be going past your neck of the woods mid afternoon, you know the old adage about two boats going in the same direction 'n all.....

Now thats rotten timing I'm going out on Broardwater thurs.
Now if theres anything on the boat your misses gave you don't forget to take it .
When I sold the Bounty I took the ships clock and about a month later told the misses I grabbed the clock she bought for the boat only to be told it was the barometer .

Its an emotional time, but the highs and lows will level out. You will then be able to plan your next project.
Your posts on Fusion have brought us a lot of joy as you have brought to all the people you have taken out
Well travelled Shaggy.

Its always a bit sad selling your boat (for me anyway) but as they as say " When one door closes another opens". Congrats with the sale and good luck with your next project. Are you planning on another boat or are you going to take a break?

Oh well, if you do get a chance to come down this way, give me a heads up and I can take you out for a sail.
