Why would the cops establish a crime scene! News: Elderly man dies after yacht capsizes in rough seas on NSW north coast.

Death is a sad part of life but 90 years of life is an awesome achievement. Its possible a crime was committed for other people's gain, really hope not.
I'm a glass half full person but if you knew a rough end was coming - why not go out in a storm ??
Ok after losing both parents and mother in law so I'm biased towards euthanasia compared to suffering end but as long as there are safe guide lines.
On a positive note - enjoy life ??

The seas on the nsw north coast have been unremarkable, but some big river out flows can still cause heaped up wave action at river bars. Sad the news of any death. The age difference of the crew is outstanding. I hope the young bloke, weather rello or not doesn't do it tougher than necessary etc

Post here over on FB including comment where a fellow right at the scene comforted the 17yr old and congratulated him. Am sure he will receive appropriate support.

The police crime scene activation would be standard protocol so nothing needs to be read into it more than that.

RIP. Peter Warner. Local news has just named the 3 time Sydney to Hobart winner as the deceased

This is just before they left heading to Ballina. I saw this just a couple of hours after it was posted.
A sad loss.
