Hi all. My depth sounder screen is getting pretty hard to see. Getting sick of trying to guess what number it is. So can the sceen be fixed or am i up for a new one? If so whats a good reasonable cheapish one. Not to worried about speed log as it doesn't work anymore. Cheers
Yara i thought about those, and i am a tight arse but not that tight rather get a halve decent built in one Bananabender thanks for the link, i did look on ebay but never saw any. I think I'll go with that one. Thanks

Actually my Garmin fishfinder is bulkhead mounted, and has been excellent. The transducer is mounted inside the hull, and was easy to install.
I know it might well be a waste of time, but on the other hand.....
Have to tried to contact the maker and ask about a replacement part? Looks like the digital readout. If so it should be pretty well generic and a plug in module.
