I have a 27 foot, seventies, production keelboat moored in the Parramatta River. I'm hoping to paint the topsides by roller and also recoat the antifoul late this year.
Can anyone recommend a yard that'll will let me do this in the river/ Harbour/ Pittwater or anywhere in greater Sydney, economically?
At the moment the haul out/ lift cost is OK but the 'daily rate' quoted makes the job prohibitively expensive.

Thanks

Machans Marina on the way to Brisbane Water north of Pittwater has a slip and at one time allowed do it your self. We did anti-fouling there ourselves every year. If they still allow it you will have fun getting around Box Head. It was always exciting :-) Very pretty waterways though and worth the trip.

Unless it changed recently, Woolwich dock will let you work on your own boat. I think they're about market price for lift , hardstand and launch prices. Good space to work in and always been helpful when I've been there. Not sure how quickly you'd get a booking though.

As far as I know it's only Woolwich Dock and Noakes these days.

Try Balmain Marina - it used to allow it.
