My wife took this picture after she heard the cruiser crash into the rocks.
The engine was running and the boat was washed up onto the rocks a further forty metres east.
The police helicopter arrived and they lowered a medical officer onto the boat.
He discovered the driver aged 94 on the boat.
He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

yikes!
Sad to hear but I hope I go in a similar way. Obviously out doing what he loved. Nice looking boat for a stinker.

Have to agree, way better than a nursing home being coddled and wrapped in cotton wool.

Yep, I'm looking after my 98 year old mum who is in a nursing home. Not a future for me I hope.

Yep if I go this way at that age I'm happy as long as no one else is on board.
