What's the most effective way of cleaning my boat after a trip to avoid any unpleasant species like quagga mussels and mud snails getting caught up in areas like the hull, bilge, motor etc?

So you are worried about fresh water snails and mussels entering the hull, bilge and motor. Do you actually have a boat and if so where is it located?

I've recently moved over to Sydney from the UK and have yet to sail my boat, but back in the UK, Quagga mussels and zebra mussels were an emerging issue.
I read they were hear in Australia and wondered if there was any guidance on them. I've never encountered them but I want to make sure I'm not transporting any, they clog water pipes and cause algal blooms, plus reduce fish populations.
