If you unscrew one of the bolts can you see any metal plate embeded in the fibreglass?

I have been looking at the ads for the Clansman for awhile. From some photos it looks like they have chainplates bolted to fibreglass ribs in the cabin. On the port side there is one on either side of the head compartment and one between the table and seat. However, in one photo I could only see what was probably the bottom of a U bolt in the head compartment. Maybe there were different versions over the years.

I have seen a Clansman called Mirrool advertised. Is that your boat?

I don't know, but would think that it would have been easier and better to have a tab or plate under the deck, instead of in it. Perhaps as was mentioned, if you take the u-bolt out you may be able to see if there is a plate in the hole. Also, if you tap around the area it could sound different if there is steel embedded. In the right light there might be some sign of of a bulge in the fibreglass too. Maybe ask whoever did the last survey, they may have an idea.
