I have been using a ozito sander/polisher with double sided lambs wool pad for commercial and private use. Each 4ahr battery lasts about 1 .5 hours on medium cut job. It's lasted well for about 3 years and done roughly 100hrs . 3m make good cutting polish and STARBRITE PREMIUM MARINE POLISH WITH PTEF for waxing.
Make sure to mask up any non skid areas as you don't want polish on those parts and leaves a more professional looking job.

Thankyou. On it now. Off to the big green shed.

Would ensure you have all the exit mould residue removed before you start. Might be an idea to use one of the starbrite boat washes or even stain remover before you put polish on. Depends how bad the original surface is. It might appear that the stain and discolouring have been removed but probably a stain remover will remove even more to get back to the original colour a lot better than just exit mould.

Wash down with Metal Gleam or oxalic acid. When dry use the appropriate 3M rubbing compound, there is a choice between paint or gelcoat. Then polish with the Starbrite polish which is made by 3M. The professionals at the local slips always seem to use 3M.
