I am devastated. No Pagan to follow , no Fusion, no Seabirds , No Law Connect to give Black Jack a hurry up. Oh well I will watch ( oldest boat) Wistari and Hot Seat for interest .

Sorry BB. It might be a Seabird/Pogo year too! The long range forecast hints at 20 kn breeze off Caloundra and behind the mast so it could be a battle of kite attrition.
If its gets southerly and the breeze stays in the symmetrical guys will be grinning like cats,
But if the asym boys get e slight easterly bias and the breeze stays in, they'll generate enough apparent to sail fast and go deep.
And if it veers and backs, then it's good fun to be had all round.
Besides, it all gets reset at the top of Breaksea on the turn NW toward the Lady Elliot turning mark.
Wishing all crews a safe and happy Easter weekend...with rooster tails.

Hiya BB,
Intrusion, a little Sonata 8, great fun boat and got my girls into sailing. I bought it from my kid brother who needed some cash at the time and I needed something as a filler. I'd actually came back to Oz to buy Shotover which I'd always had a soft spot for. But it all fell through when I got back and the owner hiked the price up. When I left to go OS it was a quarter of a mill. This was about right, it was an expensive boat to maintain and older and you needed near as much again to lick it into proper shape.
Sadly when I got back, the price jumped to a mill! (the owner tried adding a charter contract to it to bump the price up) which was nuts too expensive, so the venerable Aussie TS' saved the day till we could restart the search for a good offshore optimized boat.

Thanks Shaggy ,I thought Intrusion was previously yours . She is up for sale and looking really nice and enticing. I like the open plan inside. Fixed keel though. Would make a great quick daysailer .

Looks promising!
From Fiday arvo through to Saturday looks ok for wind.
It should be a fast trip.
