There is a Y valve (see photo below) between the toilet outlet and the Lavac pump on Kinora, the second inlet hose (black) runs down to a sump in the floor outside the head. I assume the original intent was to provide a way to pump water out of the forward area of the boat using the Lavac toilet pump but the Y valve is frozen in the toilet flush position. An internet search suggests it is a Bosworth Sea-lect Y valve.

Does anyone know if there is an Australian, preferably Sydney, supplier for these valves?

Thanks in advance.

Kinora

Five seconds on Google reveals this, straight from the Bosworth company website thebosworthco.com/products/selectv.php
Good luck, I'd be surprised if they carry any stock.

Many thanks, LooseChange, and apologies for missing such an obvious solution. The Bosworth site came up in my own Googling but weary experience led me to disregard the site because it was not Australian and prejudice led me to disregard it because it was the manufacturer's site. Perhaps my recent trials with the Raymarine site contributed to the bias ...

I stand corrected and will call C&L on Monday. As penance, I will always check the manufacture's site in the future

Cheers,
Kinora
