I see this boat moored where I sail from time to time at Steiglitz Cabbage Tree Point and it
stands out as being totally out of place among the houseboats , live aboards and old motor cruisers .
No name I can see just heaps of advertising. Open transom. Anyone know her or what she is.
Could be a Steinman 3/4 or 1/2 tonner eg

Very definitely one of the Dubios 1/2 tonners
Most likely "The Syndicate"
Sterns are all different
Not the original rig either
Thanks R13,
Sure looks like the 3/4 but didnt think she was that long.
I'll just have to have another sail down there next week and have a closer look.

I'll have to stop sailing past this poor forlorn boat .
I'll swear it was whispering repeatedly to me today to find the owner , make an offer and race me. Na , Probably cost a fortune to bring up to speed . Edit: just realised its Public Nuisance. Last I could see she was in Sydney H many moons ago.

Now thats a transom you don't want to be trying to haul yourself back on board over!
Nooo. You fall off you stay off. Ive been given notice to vacate pontoon
next year ( no room ) so may as well rent pen and upsize. Other daughter lives in Brighton and reckons Shorncliffe would be good
Public nuisanse is a Dubior 30
Use to race out of botany bay around 1986.
Thanks mate , just went into archives on the other sailing site and read a bit
about those 1/2 tonners. Someone has bought her up here whenever and seemingly lost interest.
I think you will find the owner at a local boatyard - he's a shipwright.
Probably at Horizon Shores Steiglitz
