Not a fair comparison. TH is 25ft compared to a 28ft boat. Diesel more likely in C28 if you want. C28 generally more expensive.
C28 bigger than TH. More space inside, more space for stuff. More ballast, etc.
A bit more painting when it comes to a/f time.
Horses for courses; just the same as the other post - with diesel or OB motor. The word "better" is subjective, and it is a personal weighing of all the aspects.

Excellent buying, was $24,990 for some time, but wasn't snapped up.

BeamReach - if you mean the sloop, yeah I had a squiz. Looks nice.except for the wet bilge and the suspect chainplate. Still - it's probably repairable for not too much.
For what it's worth I know of a couple of top hats that have circumnavigated. I have a Triton24 and yes there are better off shore boats. However I know of one T24 that circumnavigated via Cape Horn with 2 aboard and arrived back in Oz with a third aboard (baby)

C28 gets up to 6kts with a lot less effort than the TH.
C28 bounces around less, like a cork in a seaway.
C28 head area and storage opposite is nice.
C28 probably less weather helm.
Outboard motor is perfectly viable on a TH.
Saloon layout is terrible in the C28.
TH a bit easier to man-handle in marinas.
TH mast compression support better than C28.
TH cheaper to buy and run.
Enclosed chainplates on C28 a bit dubious.
Pretty similar i reckon....but C28 about half to 1 knt faster makes a big difference to me.
