I think I lot tri sails on racing yachts can only be hoisted in sheltered waters
The latest southern spar masts require someone to be hoisted 2 - 3 metres of the deck to feed the tri sail through a gate above the mainsail stack- not something that would be fun in 50knots and big seas.

I was worried about this, I was looking around for where to do bloody fish cutting thingys, I can't bring myself to do it

With a big transom like that sure to fit a big esky or a bait box , even a game boat chair mind you the stern wake looked a bit iffy from the leward rudder .
Who's steering ????? or are the foils Balanced ? using auto helm already !!!!!!

Many years ago when i was on white boats we used a syringe full of Gin instead of clubing the fish a bit of gin to the Head stuns them dead no bleeding !!!

Shouldnt worry about your upwind speed yet ,this time next year you will be up a knot !!!!!!
If you are going to use your 4 th reef as staysail i think it is no no !!! also have to paint it orange

On a serious note thanks for sharing the creation of an idea buying a yacht from overseas to going for a sail ,somthing many of us have dreamed but none done .
Through your exploits/blog i am sure there will be a few more Pogos down under.
