Hi seabreezers,
Happy new year and fingers crossed it's better than the last for all.
So appreciate this isn't specifically sailing, but I have an aluminium tinnie that sits in the water as a commuter boat.
Just seeing what the brains trust recommend for the antifoul system for this?
Cheers
It's not going to be cheap!

Pettit Vivid, now owned by Altex. This is a hard antifoul that has been exceptional on my mates 42-foot alloy yacht for 3 years. I'm about to use the same.
I have found International Trilux 33 to be good. I use it round the aluminium components of my boat. The main thing is you must get a good coating.
Just use the cheapest antifouling you can get. Absolutely no benefit (from a corrosion perspective) in using specialised anti fouling products for aluminium. They are simply a marketing ploy by paint manufacturers. You could hang a zinc anode to give some corrosion protection.
