Reading the the above it seems that the boat didn't have the appropriate insurance policy to compete in the race and the Polish Yacht Club that chartered her have taken legal action against the boat owner to recoup their money
The interesting thing is that there is no mention of this on the offical Sydney Hobart website www.rolexsydneyhobart.com/
The article says the boat is welded into its berth. That sounds a bit excessive. The crew are innocent parties and the boats not going to make a break for it by itself
