Well, it's back to work tomorrow.
So I headed out to Pink Lake, which is 2 Kms from my house for the last hurrah.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got there and a Blokart was already sailing.
Turns out a local plumber had bought one in Mandurah before he shifted here and was giving it its first run for a couple of years, with his family.
It was drowned in "Inox" to get the bearings freed up and he was having a ball.

So with Rob, the local master builder in "Playbouy".

Michael with "Big Mick", my student in his,

and Scott, Micks dad in my "Saltern" and myself in "Saline by" we had a fat time with a S/SEaster at 18 knots.
We had a couple of markers and chassed each other round them for a while and had fun in general. The lake was quite damp where the stronger S/Wester early in the morning had blown the water to where we sail.
Here is a GPS log of the day.

We all came home grinning and worn out.
So with the batteries topped up, its back into another year at the Ag College.

Don't blame you with that heat.
We suffered through a top of 23 degrees today.

I can't organize breakfast, let alone a club.

With the Blokart today, there are now 10 yachts sailing here (that I know of) 2 more parked up, John up and died on us in September and yes Stephen, 7 more to complete at the Ag College.

Norseman is looking good for a social outing later in the year maybe.

I realize you are busy getting ready for Europe.

Your fiberglass seats are getting rave reviews here, the guys love em.
They are so comfortable we could sleep in them, is the usual comment.
Ask big Mick he did!!!
Went down the shed and didn't come back. When Scott checked, he was fast asleep in his yacht.

Yep, it's also a spot on a yacht!!!

Rob always gives "Nellie" a rip round whenever he sails.
You can see the brake being used to come to a complete stop, after her adventure.
