Will probably end up too pricey for me, but "Sand yachts - Goolwa" original by Mike Barr of Adelaide would be a nice catch for someone on here. That's the UK listing but will get you to the Au listing. Or you feel sorry for me, club together and buy it for me

Cheers Col

Nice! I'll settle for a free round trip ticket to that loc, and free local rental of a nice rig to sail. You can get the painting.....

"Storm Boy" country .... A great Australian classic movie.
A nice beach to sail on with the right wind & tides and if you ever go there do the "cockle twist" For nice fishing bait.

I was born in a house on Port Elliot RD, a few kilometers from there.

I've been in Esperance for 46 years so I'm nearly a local.

I had a close look at the pic with the eBay zoom function, it might be called "Goolwa" but the beach is different than that, Goolwa beach has smallish sand dunes covered by a spiky grass rather than rolling hills in the background also the wash away near the yacht doesn't happen on the top of the beach as there is little or no run off from the dunes Goolwa beach is straight or has only a very slightish turn on it.
The beach is most like Aldinga / Sellicks beach with the hills behind and the wash-aways and the turn of the coast or a mix of both with a stylized land yacht on it.
Never the less a VERY nice picture....

Here is a magazine article published many years ago about a trip along the Coorong Beach, just the other side of the River Murray mouth from Goolwa beach
