taken out at our lake ,trav sailing the majestical berminator i much to our pleasure the little class 6 winged yacht was very stable in the strong short gusts of wind we recieved that day. i believe with good strong steady breeze and the lake at its best vic berminghams one of a kind 6 could turn out to be a very surprising craft.... ps this yacht is a credit to vic berminghams craftmanship.....

Well done Vic & trav, time Vindi's dust was stirred up...........

I'm thinking I'll have a play with a tiny wing on my 5 when I get a chance.
Couple of other 'yachts to make first........

Hi Guys,
We recently finished cleaning out my dad's shed (some of the reason I haven't done more in landsailing yet) & as no-one wanted the hang - gliders I pulled them apart.

This has left me with a bunch of lightweight tube, which I'm determined to use in some new 'yachts - I reckon dad would be happier about that than just scrapping them!

I'll get a few masts out of it, but I'm going to make some mini's with it as well - just fun yachts.
Got a couple of ideas, I'll post as I go.

just came across a nice class5 vid. Any comments on the down haul system. Center pull combined with front.

I would love to have a go in Berminator or even Vindicator.

If I turned up,would it be on the cards?

Probably not a bad thing to have the downhaul on the front, but it looks like he might need some help with the outhaul on the 'end of boom-cam' shots. I think you could sell him one of your adjustable doodads

It looks like he's goin' like crazy, and has to lean waaaaay forward to make it steer

Wish I was sailing now............

well there is a nationals ,then worlds in early 2014,the lefroydians have already been asked when in Europe to organize a gathering after those 2 events, more of a come and sail on lefroy,as opposed to race ,race ,race, so yes it "might be possible"
there is a leap in awareness required when you get behind a wing and a certain fragility, so I dont let just anybody jump in

keep in mind he/she is on sandthat is churned and wet and soft in patches ,so a slightly fuller sail is regularly needed,
