here is a picture of the sail. i lied about it's size, it's only a 6.7m sail.

the vertical lines appear to be straight, so they might be a good reference for the leading edge.

it doesn't matter what size it winds up at when its done either...

That sail is pretty textbook , almost straight off the drawings in the hred in the sailmaking section.
you just need to decide on the boom style(wishbone or "traditional) and how long youare going to make it. your sailarea will be decided by the boomlength. I would go for 4.5m for the lighter winds on El mirage.
make recut that other sail as a stormy, for when the big cranking dust busters come through
