Just finished building a land yacht using my stick welder and things I had lying about. Alloy boat trailer wheels, formwork ply and a 25yo windrush sail. Note offset steering, cold gal paint. Needs a better sail.



Looks great, try and find a windsurfer sail with cams, hopefully fairly cheap, it should really sail well then. Were do you live(country)
Evans Head is in NSW Australia. No permit required for vehicles on the beach which is 100m wide at low tide.
how did you create the steering system? I always have a problem there
Looks like push-pull steering, possibly with reinforced hose for the flexy bit at the bottom of the steering shaft.
pivots in the front of the chassis tube [out of view??]
seems easy to make and that's what I'm looking for. Does anyone have the plans of the original llm? dimensions etc
