Hi I started a new build , a copy of Clem's YOTT class 5 yacht. Ive be taking lots of pictures as i go and wanted to share them with you. There are so many that was easier to make a video/ slide show on you tube and post it that way. I havent got that far yet but wanted to share them with the forum. I will take more as i go along.

Nice to see and first class workmanship there too.

It's sooo, refreshing to have fantastic easy listening music. It really tops it off.

Can't wait for the next chapter!!! Back to the bench now!

Nice job Tyrone . I too am looking forward to the next chapter. Perhaps you could add a post with the metal tube sizes you have used so far.

My Download time is very limited but from what I see your show is instruction for the
Plan Reading Impaired and that "Lazy Bear Swilling Kangaroo NAILED It" for you.

Thanks....
It has been good for building, but not for Ice Sailing, too much snow. so I keep busy in the garage with a heater. I havn't got to the hard part yet ,building the fiberglass body. That's going to be a real challange. But I still have plenty to go,so back at it until spring

very impressed with your build. I love the detail you have put into your gig, I did all my yacht without one. Thanks to your info I will build the next frame with a gig.
cheers

Just got done with new slide show of my current progress.
Im moving along with the frame and now starting to focus on the seat/fiberglass body. This may be a challenge, i have some fiberglass experience , but nothing this scale. My plan is to make a plug or mold out of foam board and fiberglass over that. Ive seen some other methods and might still change my mind have not decided yet, but I will keep the forum up to date with more pictures if your not sick of my long slide show/ videos yet. I really enjoyed building this yacht so far , it made winter pass quickly. Spring is coming soon and I will be busy getting my Sailboat ready for the summer I hope I can get a little futher along before the weather gets any better.
