Blustery wet conditions above nothing one minute holy guacomole the next Just to show how things can change Same beach same weekend different story Grandkids with padding behind them giving the mini a whirl

This little yacht is called a Bootstrap sailed by 8 year old Great weekend Batteries now fully charged
Looks like you have a fair bit of draught (curvature, belly) in that sail Hiko.
Yeah! Hiko is that a west coast beach?? I don't recollect seeing them that wide on the east coast?? Mind you the sand doesn't look as black as it did 30 years ago or is that just a trick of memory. Kariotahi Beach is the one I spent most of my time flying. Ron
East coast beach Ohope eastern Bay of Plenty Not as wide as it is sometimes in those pics It had a deep gutter on the outer edge that you can see in the photos on that weekend Ohope is 5mins from Clemco`s front door and then he has another one Ohiwa which is even wider 30-40 minutes away He does it tough! That sail does look full in those photos I had only just hit the beach on a blustery day Thats my excuse anyway I`ll run with that
Ohope Beach? It is a wide one for the east coast. I only passed through there on a trip. Spent most of my time up on the northern part as that is where my wife used to live . You aren'' all that far from a good mate of mine. Tauranga, only just up the road from there. You're right. Clemco does it tough------------Spoiled Sod. Ron
