I found some diagrams of the building of a "Manta" Class landyacht, you might get some ideas from how they do it.......
(and the comlpexity of this building method)

Cisco.... copyright is actually illegal, Im very aware of the "Copyright,
Registered Design and Patents Laws".
I actually have 2 Registered Designs lodged and approved with the Australian Trade Mark and Patent Office and I am aware of the complexity and expenditure in lodging of these.
I have manufactured for many years a patentable item used world wide in the film and television industry. No patent was ever applied for this item as the return would not cover the Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars for patent lodgement in all the countries required for protection (and no matter how much protection you have, many countries around the world ignore Patent Laws).
On the pictures in the photo section of these assembly instructions for the "Manta
Yacht" included the web site link for all to see.
(Copyright:http://www.firebudd.com/manta/index.htm )
These pictures are assembly instructions only and are not plans as no dimensions are included.
The internet has opened a whole debate on copyright, all I have done is shown the Landsailing Community on Seabreeze pictures which are freely available to all.

Come on Brian, there was a big smiley on the end of my comment.

As you say the advent of the internet is giving "Copyright Laws" a big shake up.

My personal view is that once a discovery of knowlege or technology has been made it is then the property of all mankind and is for the benefit of all mankind.

This then raises arguements like "What incentive is there for people to invent if they can't protect their intellectual property with copyright. I don't know but I think it will all resolve itself over the coming years.

Thanks for posting the Manta diagrams anyway. There are some really good ideas there, particularly with different ways of attaching things.

Cheers Cisco.

All those bits ,all that maintainance, so many parts whose function is to prop up the other bit that wasnt strong enough. . These are the machines I was building in 1977! . moved on , too hard , give me a simpler high speed fencepost
