This is a concept machine built 20 yrs ago. It uses cycle steering head bearings. The seat is a canvas easychair style - you can shift your weight easily as ballast. The central column is a truck exhaust and the two back booms fold forward around it. Pulled apart the thing fits into the boot of an old Falcon. The rig is off a Moth skiff. This rig is fairly easy to acquire for next to nothing as Lasers have pretty much superseeded the Moth. The original prototype is currently in a blackberry bush. This impression of it is drawn mainly from memory. Will try and dig out some old photos. It did sail fairly well on Northern Tasmanian beaches.
