Cabin Accomodation is limited at "Darlington" this year(only 6 villas), there are 17 Cabins available (@ 22nd July 2008) at Lorikeet at this stage, so book soon so you don't miss out !!

Wow, what a great weekend. Pity the weather wasnt the best but at least I dont have any sunburn (but nearly frostbite!!). The new friendships and meeting the faces behind the names on the forum certainly made up for what the weather was lacking.

Due to no wind we sat on the beach on Saturday afternoon just staring at the rain before heading back for a hot shower. Sunday was still raining in the afternoon but at least we had the wind (and plenty of it).

Overall Queensland was again the winner thanks to the Mackay guys in the performance class and there is a link to NBN News at http://www.nbntv.com.au/index.php/2008/11/18/blokarts-compete-at-coffs/

Sitting around on the beach having a few drinks and chatting with like minded people... Abso - bloody - lutely!!

Great effort by all involved and they got it on the tube. Great for the sport.

Awsume couple of days sailing. First time at a meet for myself and was great to see such freindship and freindlyness from total stangers. It was shown through the weekend as people had breakages and others went out of there way to keep all sailing where possible. Planning to get to the next meet at yeppoon already and bringing the family this time.
Sailed more in 2 1/2 days than i have in 6 months so was stoked to get a 2nd in production.

"IF IT'S BLOWIN', WE'RE GOIN'... RACING" quote Andrew from Mackay.

And we did, that was too much fun for one day, and to see the smiles and chilly grimaces on faces made it all worth while. Had the best fun in a long time, thanks to NSW for a great event.

Congrats to all the Mackay boys for bringing home the bacon, and I found myself 4th in Production which I was totally stoked with being my first time in a race situation.
I've made a short movie of most of the event, but due to rain and racing missed the footage of the main day. Still, you can get the idea of the fun we had and the good time you missed out on. Better make it there next year ladies and gentlemen to fully experience it first hand.
