Can you change rear wheels to run fallshaws 4.00x8's and can you run alum rear axles?

So you can only FIT blokart branded products to a blokart to make it eligible for performance class.
Its a great business model hey?

So the only REAL modifications you can make are shaving your battens, balancing wheels, fiddling with wheel bearings and cutting 100mm off your pulley whip?

If I made a DIY pod it wouldn't be eligible because it has no blokart branding?

Has anyone else in Australia been experimenting with illegal modifications ( re: cheaper and more fun) with their blokarts?





Here is my dad after he forgot my bloakrt mast and sail at home. Using my 4.0m mini sail, tent pole boom and RDM460 100%carbon windsurfing mast and adaptor.

Look forward to the worlds in Perth next year.

I will keep my blokart PRODUCTION spec and let my creative side run wild with my Mini 5.6.

Gizmo I understand that one-design racing is great as the pilot is the only variable Production Class what I'm trying to say is that Performance is not truly one-design you will have yachts with Full race carbon mast vs a yacht with Pod and Glass mast.

For a new top spec Performance Blokart with bloakrt only parts looking at easy over $5K.

Yep,
almost blokart only products. I honestly do not think it has anything to do with a business model. You will find that most pilots will have very similar configuration of their karts when racing. I have sailed my kart since 2006 and apart from totaling it in 2009, I have found the product to be very reliable. The pod is still serviceable. I bought it because I didn't want to build something and the one design makes it great for competition.

There were 5 karts who finished within minutes of each other in the 2006 PACRIMS in the marathon. Now that is pretty good competition.

The worlds are a great competition and great camaraderie, look forward to catching up.
