If you're looking to get more adventure out of your blokarting then check this out -as featured in the latest blokarting newsletter: www.facebook.com/events/110347712322840/
Planning is under way for a Blokarting odyssey through the Atacama dessert from Northern Chile up into Peru.
Although the exact route is still to be confirmed. it looks like it will include many hundreds of kms of blokarting over a couple of weeks.
The trip is being organised for March next year and there are already 52 people signed on as interested, including some of the Gobi Dessert "Raiders". No doubt some will drop out - but still looks to be a reasonable sized group.
It is being well organised with support vehicles and some accommodation along the route.
If you are interested then check out the Facebook site above

All I have to do is convince the Mrs to let me go. That is more of a challenge than the trip itself

having flown over the route, the missus bit might be easy.
this is the inland part closer to the Andes, those are just little volcanoes
closer to the coast we flew over a massive claypan, that just had 1 dirt road over it going to a small town. when i google earthed over it later the town turn out to a federal political penitentiary

if you are going to Peru , make sure you make the effort to get to Macchu Picchu. youll kick youself if you dont. And spend 3 days , not just the popular "2 day" tours
