Great video Schmick!

Kite mountain boarding is the goods in Easterlies and light winds. On the drive up to Dongara, I drove past so many sweeeeet fields with some ramps and burms.

How many kite landboarders are in WA?

Who's out there?

Good winds,

One of my all time fave videos of the Flysurfer Speed II 12 meter

It looks like there was very little wind for coming back up the hill but the glide and float on this kite is in a league of its own.

Hey Cazme,

There aren't too many of us landboarding over here but that may change this winter. We are selling landboards and kites and there have been a few people interested in the sport and a few new owners of good gear around so we might be able to hook up and ride as a loose crew once the seabreezes wind down.

The B2 will be ok in a good breeze if you ride a skatey on tar or bitumen like a car park, but you need a much bigger kite to landboard on grass where it's marginally safer .

I normally ride an 8.0m Access XC depowerable foil. It's good from about 8 knots up to around 16 knots on bitumen, and up to around 20 knots on grass

I sold a 6m Access XC on the weekend which was awesome and would be good from around 12 knots to around 25, again depending upon terrain.

If you are keen to come along and have a blast on the demo gear we have, give us a call, it'd be cool just to ride with some other like minded peeps.

Come on WA, I know many of you have mountain boards at home, throw up a kite and lets JAM! The westerlies aren't far off.

Good winds,

shameless plug!

I'm selling my dirt surfer if anyone is interested! Not a bad alternative to mtb, require a lot less power to get going. If you are just interested in cruising around, they are the way to go.

anyone used a dirt surfer on sand. would the front wheel try going the wrong way? anyone used them for kite assisted jumps or down hill dirt jumps without a kite? Am I dreaming? are they really more for gentle controlled carves on stable surfaces?? Help greatly appreciated.
