I'm off to Denison this weekend. Any clues on where to get a wave?

there's a waveski championship on this weekend, but maybe they'll have finished when the seabreeze comes in.

a lot of the time this weekend the Gero forecast is southerly and SSE. does that mean anything? where would you kite in a SE?

If the is swell the point/bay is great, but takes a few stars to Aline to be epic, the river mouth goes great but has big n....er heads so you've to pull off before the wave finishes, seaspray and factory also work, a downwinder to 7 mile has 10klms of reef breaks with flat water inside, it has some shallow sections however and you need to keep an eye out,

thanks a heap, Cauncy. I presume that the DW would start at the river mouth and finish at the beach just north of 7 mile beach rd. Problem is I'll be at the mercy of non-kiters, so a DW wouldn't be very likely in reefs that I don't know. Probably best I just look for kites at the rivermouth and at Seaspray. I know now not to waste my time looking too far south of the point. And to keep an eye out for rocks and reefs.

I might be able to. I'd love to. But I'm a bit at the mercy of other people. I might just have to be firm with them. My number is 0403 188444. I'll certainly do it if I can work it in.

Hi Dazza, after getting all those DWs in along the Perth metro run, only thing up there that might be of intrest is just out side of the marina wall or Seven mile and both need a bit of swell to work

thanks, sugaqube. It'll be a great change anyway. I have to confess, the downwinder at cott etc is hard to beat.
