Not so much as a breeze in singapore. No way I'm ever moving here for work. I might get a day or two back in Perth before I go to Thailand. If I do it will be around the 17th. Here's hoping for good wind.

Stay safe and have fun guys.

once you have launched stay outside of the yellow markers along the beach approx 50m offshore . Don't be a ****wit and launch your kite right under the big gum trees . Don't be like the ****ing ignorant euro's who the other night as i walked past i said best you guys walk out into the water and launch rather than do it right under the trees, only to be greated with abuse, and then laughed as they could not launch their kite .

oh the wind today :( was really annoyed, everyone sat on beach and as soon as a little bit of wind kicked in everyone was off into the water yet to find it still wasn't windy enough but still gave it a go haha

I dont think it will be windy enough for the river tomorrow. Pinnaroo Point is probably the best bet. I should be free from 3.30 ish.

Melville can get busy, esp on weekends, but the 'rules' are fairly simple and easy. Nick's map is a good guide of where to launch from. There is a car park before that but its the key launching spot for the windsurfers (so we tend to leave it to them). About 30-40m from the water's edge you'll see a series of yellow markers - inshore of this line is the launch/land area so keep it for this purpose only ie not changing directions/jumps/showing off for your mates or hot chicks. If you're like me and vertical and forward at the same time is still the goal, then move out beyond the yellow markers to allow others to launch/land without risk of entanglement etc. Good luck!

I'm tentatively leaving Thailand on the 14th. I'm going to take a week off when I get home to get some kiting in. Looking at maybe heading to Wedge for a few days. If I stay in the city and the wind is blowing I'll be out every day.
