i am back from Rosebud; from 700 to 830 ok then it died. Then it picked up at 10 to 11:00 then the wind changed to straight east I was alone until 10:00 am , now I can start my week of work.
if anyone has time tomorrow, and is busting for a kite- I'm headed to sandy point for the whole day. I know it's a long way (if you're from melbourne) but if you check every forecast it will be at least 18 kts E. perfect for the inlet. inbox if you're interested
Wind seems fairly good and steady since last evening in Altona blowing at 13 knots easterly cross shore - best direction ever.. I'm not expecting any higher but at least the forecast indicates it's gonna be like this all day. It's also sunny day and the tide is getting high. So, if you are nearby and have free time, why don't you rig your biggest kite and join me there!
