I saw 20 ish kite followed by a boat today, wodering what that was? Is it across the bay training?

As part of Across The Bay a large group of this years riders met at Hampton early this afternoon and in conjunction with Sandy Yacht Club headed down to North of the Fawkner Beacon and back. Two weeks to go until the event.

Yes, it was training for Across The Bay. We were intending to go to Fawkner Beacon but the wind direction was not good for that so tracked to a yachting buoy off Brighton and back.

Next (and last) training session is on this Sunday 1/2; downwinder Aspendale to Port Melbourne.

Great pic Peter, I missed out on that training but that pic just got me even more excited for the event. Not long now!!!!!!

Yes, its on old Ripcurl, possibly a collectors item.

Just repaired my NPX so now I am Back in Black!
