A cable park would be sensational in Melbourne, but the chances of getting one up and running are slim.
Personally i'd be there every damn weekend under 15kn, not to mention the occasional after work stint... maybe even floodlit? :)

I reckon it should be in one corner of Albert Park lake.

but who would develop it, not really any big companies into that sort of stuff in melb.

ive seen home made ones that where made out of some kind of old motor like lwn mower or a high power winch or and old outboard motor and attached to a pier or a boating marker.

they seemed to work really well.

found some cool links check em out people give you a bit of amp.
for those who dont no what cable is its pretty much a cable that runs about 20ft above the water (pretty much like having your kite at 45' around a lake or big pool of water. perfect for those no wind days.. even people that ski but you dont need a boat or the expense!

dont think it will happen, maybe try and get some crew together to make a winch, check urbanrider brand
